Indycar Design Strategy
One of the most anticipated events coming to Peacock was the Indycar event series comprising of the Indycar 500 and Indycar races. To support its impact on platform, I worked with the Senior Designer to establish a brand strategy that will showcase recognizable elements and intensity of the sport.
Indy 500 Tile Redesign
We evaluated 2023's Indycar tile design and immediately noticed the lack of excitement compared to what the sport brings. The tiles were redesigned to featured a strong, custom background that highlights key elements such as the tower, smoke, and angst.

Indy 500 Victory Parade
To maintain the new edge created with the redesign, I developed the Victory Parade tile to include key elements seen within the celebratory stage of the event. Traditions such as the pouring of the milk, wreath, and trophy pose were incorporated.

Indycar Races
I wanted the excitement and intensity of the Indy 500 redesign to be applied to all Indycar events. I noticed that a set design strategy was not in place for these events and felt that by keeping all Indycar related events within one speciic theme, it can make the series easily recognizable on platform. Inspired by the Victory Tile and Indy 500 redesign, I crafted a set template to use for all individual Indycar races. Car Imagery was licensed via Getty to feature the respective athletes and placed within the template for thematic consistency.
For the template, the design focuses on an alternate view of the track in which the car is headed for a turn. By focusing more on the car with a subtle background of the track, it highlights the athlete that will be featured within the specific race. I kept the grit found within the previous Indy events while adding subtle touches of smoke and contrast for depth.
